The only thing better than the food is the staff. I first tried this restaurant through the Too Good too go app, and it was the best decision I made, because now I’m hooked. The beef samosas are made fresh and they are filled to the brim and so flavorful. The staff is super friendly and makes excellent suggestions on food choices and what pairs together. I’ll definitely be back VERY soon, definitely recommend trying. The name of the food may seem different but at first bite you’re instantly transported somewhere familiar, like my grandma’s kitchen.

My husband and I dined at Foodateria this evening with a group from church. I have never before eaten at a traditional African restaurant, and I’m so glad we came. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the samosas and the karanga ngombe (beef stew). The chef and her son are so friendly, hospitable, and hardworking. Highly recommend!

This food was hands down some of the best I’ve had in a while! I got a mystery bag and the man at the counter was so sweet and kind and told me exactly what was in the bag. I got jollof rice, chicken, cabbage and plantains. Everything was phenomenal and a great portion size!
